Barry Tombs grew up in the Kentish country side. Surrounded by images of the local landscape Barry developed an eye and interest in photography.

Having a varied interest of images from the music world, cinema, and the natural beauty of landscape and wildlife, Barry has slowly developed his technique in trying to capture images exploiting natural light and perspective.

Influenced by great photographers of their time Barry grew up inspired by the work of Patrick Lichfield, Bill Brant, David Bailey and Lord Snowdon to name a few.

Living in the North Lancashire hills for many years Barry has enjoyed exploring the area as well as developing a love for Scotland and North Wales for it's photographic opportunities.

In recent years Barry Tombs Photography has expanded to capitalise on its core qualities and has undertaken various successful wedding shoots and commercial work by still keeping its friendly and approachable manner.
